The Bonnethead shark (Sphyrna tiburo), the smallest of the hammerhead sharks, is classified as globally endangered. According to Defenders of Wildlife, its population has declined by 50-79% over the last 40 years or so, thanks to habitat loss and the international shark fin trade. A portion of all our proceeds at Jungaloo is donated to assist conservation efforts for the unique Bonnethead shark and other endangered species.
